day dress, 1920s
pattern : a little bit of this, a little bit of that, a lot of Norah Waugh and Janet Arnold
fabrics : coupons of unknown content from the Stash(tm)

This dress was made in a rush for a 1920s themed LARP - I ended up playing the nice neighborhodd Granny, hence the very not wild dress. I had about ten days, lots of books, two fabric remnants too small to make a dress out of each, and a picture of a Poiret dress as a distant inspiration. I have almost not pictures of the making of the dress, and none (at least no correct one) from the event. The pictures above were taken about a year later, while visiting the Galliéra 1920s exhibit in period attire with Heileen.
I was in a rush, the dress is a little tight at the neck and not that flattering, and my hair looks terrible in all pictures, but at least I can take pride in the fact that it's fully lined !
